⛓️Trestle Chain

Phase 2 For Trestle Protocol

We are pleased to announce that the Trestle Chain testnet is now live!

RPC: https://trestle-chain-testnet.rpc.caldera.xyz

Chain ID: 88886

Currency: wTIA

Explorer: https://trestle-chain-testnet.explorer.caldera.xyz/tx/

Testnet Tasks: We will be launching a few test contracts on the T-Chain testnet for users to test along with a task list for users to complete to earn Stardust. Stay tuned for updates 👀!

After successfully rolling out the bridge and Wrapped TIA, the team has been focused on the next frontier for becoming the gateway to Celestia. Trestle has been creating a rollup chain on Celestia, acting as a secondary layer. This layer will be built in an EVM environment, allowing any developer to build and trade on it.

What is a rollup chain?

Smart contract rollups are a type of blockchain that use a settlement layer like Ethereum to publish their blocks towards. The settlement layer's job is to then order the blocks, verify the blocks are correct and read the data on the blocks.

Celestia is revolutionary because they have created a new method that allows for free reign to chain creators to have more control over settlement and execution. They allow the nodes of the rollup to verify transactions.

Enter Trestle Chain & Launchpad

Currently, there's no easy way for anyone to build and create on Celestia. Yes, there are a few rollup chains that have caught wind, but current executions are relatively hard to bridge on which creates barriers to volume and adoption.

With Trestle, since we've built the first Celestia to Ethereum chain, we will make it easier for users to bridge onto our rollup chain on Celestia.

This way, users can launch new contracts and trade on a chain that leverages Celestia's superior consensus and data availability, allowing for faster speeds and smoother trading processes.

By creating this rollup layer, we can then provide a launchpad for new or existing teams to prepare for launches on Celestia.
